I bought a 50 inch TV in May 2017 for 30500. I have taken an extended warranty as well which was valid till May 2020. A week back my display suddenly stopped working. There are no physical damages to the TV.
For the technician initial visit they have charged 1500 rupees which is very high for an initial inspection. After the visit they mentioned that the whole display needs to be changed which costs around 27000 which is almost close to the price of the TV. This is really insane price they are asking for the repair and I see this happening with a lot o[censored]sers as well.
