My VU LED of 43 inch purchased on Oct 2017 through Flipkart is faulty since 21.11.2021 ( Intermittently getting off) . On 23.11.2021 I have lodged a complaint vide VU967976. But later I received a call and also e-mail instructing me to remit an advance amount of Rs 1000/- for technician visit. As no other alternative available I remitted the same. Thereafter one person visited my premises and without proper verification he declared that panel of my TV is faulty and need to be replaced. Very sorry to say that he is a incompetent person with very little rechnical knowhow. Then some person called me over telephone and repeated the same. When I argued with him, he replied that then we can replace the board and see how it works. For that also I need to pay Rs 4000/- in advance. What kind of customer service is this. Whether they are relying on trail and error method. Why they are not appointing competent person for servicing. Already around 2 months passed and still my TV is faulty.
Here let me quote another instant also, One of my friend who purchased VU on 2019 is experiencing same issue. Without even verification, they are telling that panel need to be replaced. Luckily his TV is under extended warranty.
In India I never heard like this before. For technician visit we need to pay service charge in advance. For parts replacement we have to pay the cost in advance. No competency in service. For small issues they are telling to replace the panel in almost all cases.
Humble request to educate all from refrain from purchase of these type of low quality brands. Also requesting for a speedy solution.
