Hi,

I'm a business development professional based out of bangalore. I've been scammed by this company called waobuddies.com for friendship / dating services.

Firstly a girl by name (Yogita - number - +91-[protected]) called me. I expressed my interest. They said the services would cost rs.1, 550. Which was ok and gave me a watsapp number to pay the amount. (I paid initially rs.1, 550 to number named ravi ([protected]) to activate my membership. The transaction id is [protected]. Then the lady said, i'll be getting a verification call from a number (+91-[protected]). The lady called (She is the head of the company named sanjana. She verified and sent some profiles to my watsapp number for dating. I selected one profile. (I suppose these are all fake and they work together to draw these huge amount of money from the innocent people). She asked me to pay rs.9, 550 for all profiles which would be refundable by the lady i meet.

Then i paid rs.9, 550 via the same paytm account named ravi ([protected]). After that sanjana fixed up the appointment on 8th december (Friday) with the lady i selected at 2:30pm. I was waiting for her. No response. I called sanjana and she connected me to the lady whom i'm going to meet. She asked both o[censored]s to pay a security deposit of rs.12, 550 upfront. The lady said she'll pay. But i refused coz the moment she asked, i thought this is scam and asked her to refund all my money (1550+9550). But sanjana refused to pay back. She said only after paying this, all my amount will be refundable). Now i realized that i've fallen into the trap. I've made a grave mistake. But i was thinking to get my money back. So i paid 12, 550 on monday to some of sanjana's other account numbers (Nisha - [protected])

Then the lady said we cant meet outside, so asked me to come to her apartment. For that i need a premium card which asked me to get it from sanjana, the stupid founder of waobuddies.com. I called her, she again insisted to pay me rs.10, 550 for the premium card after which she would print it and send it to me and my email id. For that moment, i thought everything i made was the grave mistake and paid rs.10, 550 to get my money back. But after paying this the lady said we can meet in marriott hotel for which i should pay all the amount including her food.

I refused to pay and sanjana also refused to pay me back. I said i'll go to cyber cell. But they are fearless.

I request you to consider this as a serious case and advice me what to do.

I lost in total (34, 200) to this scam company. I dont know how to recover the money back. Please advice.
