In may 2017, my mother was treated in kpc hospital at jadavpur for an ulcer/ tumor on tounge. Till discharging time after operation, doctor told everything was ok and to collect the biopsy report later. Almost after 10 days biopsy report collected and it was reported as cancer & the doctor advised to consult oncologist immediately for further surgery & radiation. We then with all reports approached tata medical center, kolkata and followed their advices. After 2 months tmc perfomed tounge & neck surgery and 16/ 17 days later they given new biopsy report with negative results. After the tmc report, the attending doctor's first question was from where the first biopsy was done. Then the treating doctor came and said "everything is ok, no further treatment is required on this. Only visual observations are needed in every one / one and half month". The complaint is how the kpc report came positive and for that we had to go through the hard time, wasted our hard earned money. We expect justice from the honourable state medical council.
