Hi,

Wipro hr & senior leaders can be very fickle-minded & capricious even until the penultimate stage in hiring, so please tread with extra prudence when applying there & don't forget the adage "many a slip 'twixt the cup and lip".

Facts:

I had 20+ yrs of relevant experience in it-ites org (Bellwether as well as startups) at the time of this incident. My successful career has been based on a bedrock of consistent outcome-based, client-appreciated hard-work, backed by a scintillating academic past in school-college.

May'2016 = i was at a cusp, taking a much-needed sabbatical from work & actively looking for a new role with career growth
Jun'2016 = i received an initial call from wipro for a senior (Gm level) position with a specific vertical, account, role
Jul'2016 = i was called to blr from del for a day-long visit to attend a series of final interviews with sr. Leaders & hr
Aug'2016 = correspondence related to my hiring were proceeding smoothly, early date of joining discussed, docs submitted
Sep'2016 = my hiring process slowed down mysteriously, citing delays in "internal approvals"-still no offer letter issued
Oct'2016 = sr. Hr spoc resigns & no intimation is shared that my hiring has been put on hold, after 4 mths of waiting
Nov'2016 = i try making a few enquiries & realized that i've been left high & dry, after nearly joining formally
Dec'2016 = i file a grievance addressed to sr. Leadership of wipro + ombudsman with all details, chronology of events
Jan'2017 = wipro ombudsman lawyer reverts after internal investigation that business requirements are dynamic
Feb'2017 = wipro hr (Jr) level reverted to me that the episode was regrettable & i will be contacted if any requirement

Having known from the beginning of the recruitment process that i was urgently looking out for a job with steady income, that i had pressing personal financial factors to address (Home-loan emis, sustaining my family) on just my life's savings upto that point, wipro hr could have handled the matter with due sensitivity, clarity, transparency, expeditiously and with a less cavalier attitude.

The wipro vp to whom i was to report upon joining and who had called me daily at one point to urge me to be ready to join at a short notice in aug'2016 should not have abandoned me suddenly (As was done), avoiding my calls & mails without a professional update. I had a couple of other offers that came during july-oct'2016 which i rejected thinking that wipro team was so gung-ho about my candidacy and the chances of joining shortly were very promising. I'm still jobless & the career gap has grown - much to my disadvantage and only due to 3-4 ruthless sr. Folks with no accountability & low conscience.

I highlight my plight with a hope that the mental trauma, waiting-in-vain, frustration, disillusionment, disenchantment and disappointment that i endured all these past months should not be a recurring phenomenon for another senior professional applying to wipro. If business requirements are so fluid that even sr. Level hires can be stalled / shelved overnight ad-infinitum, then why raise anyone's hopes by leading them on, inviting to blr for final f2f talks, explaining the jd, role, responsibilities, delivery-expectations in minute detail?

Very insensitive, unprofessional, unbecoming behaviour coming from an it major of our nation. I had expected lots more professionalism, accountability and sensitivity from an esteemed org of such repute, with such highly touted standards of business ethics and corporate governance.

This is to bring your notice that, i have been interviewed on 21st, 24th & 25th april'17 for the position of quality analyst. I have received the letter of intent from wipro on 25th apr'17. At that point of time i am still working in my my previous company but the people who hired me, asked me to take emergency exit since it is an immediate requirement so i took emergency exit. They mentioned the date of joining as 2nd may'17 in letter of intent.

As per discussion they advice that i m going to join by 2nd may'17, but now they are saying that its delaying due to some technical issues. Still i did not receive any confirmation from wipro.

I took emergency exit only because of this immediate offer and my salary has been deducted for the month of apr'17 for not serving notice period.

I lost 3 months salary for this opportunity. Plesae justice for me.

Sir i got a call from wipro. He says that his name was rahul. Director of refunds in wipro and his mobile no was [protected]. He takes my account details and says with in one hour you got salary. But when i check my account 15000 was debited from my account. I try to call to him but his phone was switched off. So please solve my problem as early as possible.

Dear Sir, I joined Wipro in the year 2005 and left in the year 04th Nov 2007. I requested Wipro to start pf withdrawal process many times but they are forcing me to pay Rs 10011. I really don't understand why should I pay this amount.

Hi kotak team,

Till today i was happy with kotak customer service but today i am very angry and unhappy with the same.in this month (May2017) 4times money has been deducted (Rs470) in the name of the tbms charge without any intimation and after deduction also no information has been passed to us (Customer). Could you please let me know what is this tbms charge and why it is deducted.
Please provide me justice and please refund my amount. I would perfer switching to other bank.
Please intimate before deducting money and keep customers posted for any type of transactions.

I never thought that kotak would cheat customers in this way...

Hi team,

I'm gayathri lakshmanan (306451). Worked as project engineer in wipro technologies chennai (Cdc 5). I had my last working date as 27/4/17. Till now i didn't receive my final settlement. I have completed all my no due clearance process. Also i didn't receive my experience certificate through mail till now. I resigned by job and served my notice period. Then got relieved from wipro by 2nd of may. The exitndc team promisede that i can get the reliving letter that day or the next day. Based on them, i promised to join my future organization on friday, the 5th of may. Still wipro has not sent any mail or any confirmation date on when can it get the mail. They're not attending any calls and all numbers are not reachable. Even if i call them, they are not connecting to the proper team. They say the number is not available. They fist asked me whether it am an exit candidate and then they are giving me this answer. I am asking only for an acknowledgement mail and they're not even willing to send that. I lost almost a weeks salary now from my new organization because of wipro.

I am working in it industry. I have been selected for wipro in the interview process. Actually, i have family problems so, i requested for bangalore location and relocation charges. They have agreed (Have conversation emails with hr) but provided chennai offer letter. When i asked hr, he said will send to bangalore only. After serving my 90days of notice period in current company, on my last working day hr said, there...

I have proper proof of submitting IT proof to wipro, in turn i received confirmation that IT proof is verified successfully. After a month i put resignation. Even after this, they have calculated wrong settlement and cut down my salary and shown as IT Tax for my complete month earnings.
They do eat employee salary showing the entire amount as tax.
I have asked for revise final settlement, they said you submit IT returns.

By purposefully they do it to employees who are leaving wipro. This is not a small amount and its very big amount.

I am an ex employee of Wipro Technologies.I left Wipro without informing to anyone from July 03, 2016.I was joined on April, 2016.I am having 6 months bond but, unfortunately because of some personal problem I discontinued.I got 2 remainders(notices) from wipro that i have to attend to office after that they asked me to clear the dues.Now I want to clear my dues but, I don't know how to clear the due and how much i have to pay.Could you please help me to solve this issue.

When I call to the cust care ([protected] at 14:43 hr : call duration 30 min approx) of flipkart to know the exchange policy the executive given wrong information which is just opposite to the policy mentioned on website. Here the story not end, he is keep on saying the irritating line "aapko banana chahunga" and his word selection while speaking was improper. Even he does not know he is there for the customer only. it shows a big brand like flipkart is not giving value his customer. Moreover his approach should be towards providing information but this call was looking like to end anyway to save his own call centre KPI. e.g. AHT not quality of the call and customer satisfaction.
Now I am thinking should I plan to buy anything / promote this brand in future.
