Woodenstreet.com — Sofa Delivery

I ordered a Fabric Sofa from Wooden Street on 20th July, 2022 from their App. After ordering I received an email on my Gmail saying that my payment has been received and the amount was deducted from my account.

My Orders on the App was still not updated with the item and I could see it in my cart. I reached out first to the team on 21st July to update my order status on the app & website, and after multiple follow-ups and calls with customer service I was given a copy of their internal invoice and told that my order was confirmed. The portal not reflecting the order was due to a migration issue on their website.

It has been one month since, and every time I get in touch I am fed the same false assurance that the order will be disbursed in 2-3 more days (the original timeframe was 11 days when I ordered). It is a standard response that ALL the chat support guys give (almost like it has been passed on as a template), and when I interrogate them more they give in and tell me to 'raise a ticket' or 'talk to their senior' on the support email - only to have the senior say the same two lines.

I honestly think this is a scam that they are running, and the license needs to be confiscated. Would definitely recommend likes of HomeTown or HomeCenter - it has a much better Customer Service along with Order Delivery and Support.
