[Resolved]  Wurfel Kuche — Customer Service and Design Issues

I've been to Wurfel Kuche - First Leap Studio (Whitefield) on 25th Jan' 2017 for Modular Kitchen and Wardrobes. The director (Vipul) briefed me on the products and suggested me to pay token amount to start initiating the design process (FAQ's on the website does not state this). I've made a payment of Rs10K and received the receipt (which do not state non-refundable). Few days later an engineer visited my flat and took the measurements post which i was called for a presentation. The presentation was made with incorrect details (e.g, location of pillar and beams). I've pointed out the shortcomings for which they asked me to revisit. I've been to their office again during Feb last week but design remained same. I was informed these would be taken care once they prepare the dossier. Though I was presented with the cost on the same day, since there were pending design issues, I suggested to rectify and present the correct cost, for which they asked for more time.

Post this i was out of station for two weeks but never received a call or email. When i went to enquire about the status, the second director informed me that they assumed i would not turn up and hence did not work on the designs. With all these delays from the studio, i went ahead with another vendor and asked the Wurfel team to return my token amount.

Director (Vipul) started to put the blame on me stating that i was not answering the calls (if so, where are your emails sir??). I showed the call history to Sanjana (coordinator at the studio). Vipul says he cannot share any designs (though inaccurate and not required for me) and he cannot return the amount. I asked for alternate options, for which he said he has to speak to factory and the update was never there.

Few weeks later, a sales person from same studio called me. I briefed him and he agreed that based on my suggestion they would include non-refundable status for token advance in future receipts. He promized, but there is no further callback or email from the studio post that...

I tried reaching the Corporate office and spoke to Malavika twice (first time 1st Apr and then 6th Apr'17 ). She promised for a callback on both these instances..but still waiting on that.

Some much of disconnect and a unhappy customer due to not keeping him informed...Irregularities on your side but blame customer to the end...

Request you to help me in this instance. I request for the token advance to be returned and the compensation for the agony i went through...

This is the most disppointing service i ever saw they claim to provide you with high quality product within 1 month it has been 2 months and we recieved damaged kitchen units and customer care including the higher management is so rude and negligent makes me wonder why did i pay lakhs of rupees for such wortless product and pathetic service
Do not buy a modular kitchen from this company!!! nothing but lies and cheats. Kitchen was a total mess from designing to installing. Absolute misery as no one returns calls. Not european and totally indian made (execept hardware and boards). Not worth rs. 40 lac. Could care less about customer once money is transferred. Bad company!

We are disappointed to know that you are unhappy. However, what we read is not Würfel culture. We go out of our way to resolve any problem from our esteemed clients. We take ownership even if there is any mistake on site and make sure that the same is rectified and handed over to you maintaining the Würfel standards.

First of all we are extremely sorry to hear about your order not being handled the right way. We have verified the same that you paid Rs. 10, 000/- as an advance for your order. On raising your concern to return the amount, the showroom team had proposed to redeem the same against any product. However we are extremely sorry for the mishap and we are glad that the same has been take care of and you have marked this problem as resolved.

I had signed a agreement with first leap studio ( wurfel kuche) in May 2019. I was told unless I pay advance of the full amount they will not deliver. my project cost was around approx 23 Lakhs . So based on the dates they gave me I had paid all the money in full. the project is for 1 open kitchen, 1 wet kitchen and 1 wardrobe. I was told all the delivery and installation would be done by June end but when the items came some of the things did not come . there had been many delays with no one taking responsibility to answer . also the open kitchen the design I had agreed on whatsapp and which I had confirmed to the sales person ( sandesh) did not come . when I asked them they said that I have to read the dossier. the director vipul also know that I signed the dossier in less than 2 min since I was rushing to the airport on that day and also I was very certain that I have the image in my whatsapp. so when I approached them they said that they had given the old design and not updated the one which was last shared on whatsapp. So he told me that he would further charge me further money ( approx. 2 lakhs) to do the one which we had agreed before . even though it was vipul sales person mistake and Since I was relocating from delhi to Bangalore I said I would bear the costs, but pay only after he complete the full kitchen as per the discussion since I am very much aware of their unprofessional approach. He had agreed first and then suddenly he started texting me that unless I pay the money he would not do the work . Now it is sept 2019 my open kitchen is not done till date . I have 2 choices . either to go legal or to forget this bad episode and ask some one to finish my kitchen . I can tell you that this company wurfel is one of the worst company I had ever dealt with since there is no body from this company who is checking their sales and implementation partner behaviour in the market . I would strongly recommend to everyone please don't ever buy anything from this company even if it is free nor from this first leap studio ( wurfel kuche ) in whitefield. I entered into my villa end of June 2019 and till today the open kitchen is not done and no one from wurfel has checked if their partners have completed the installation .
I have read the above responses from the wurfel team on the above complaints and feel that they are at the mercy of the sales partners since their responses really have no authority or integrity. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. the quality is also not good as they claim . you can get better kitchen and wardrobe products done from places like homecentre who are more sincere and ethical.

Oh my god, that’s why you should read the documents carefully before signing . As there might be some miscommunication, as kitchen is a product which goes through multiple design changes and you should have everything documented and not rely on WhatsApp messages after all you have spent so much.
This Company is a scam. They take huge amount of money but the product quality, customer service is not of any standard. We had ordered a Bed which was delivered in February 2021 but till date the installation of the bed is not complete. There have been multiple quality issues with the bed and several parts have been replaced in a span of 6 months. 6 times the installation has been done and then undone but thee bed is not in a usable condition. The panels have broken 2 times already. They don’t respond to mails or messages unless you follow-up. I have wasted about 1.3 lakhs on the bed that is not even in a usable condition. I have requested for a refund or a replacement but clearly that will not be done.

Beware of these unprofessional bunch of people.
