I had ordered a resistance band worth Rs. 272/- from Snapdeal a few days back which was then mentioned will be delivered to me between May 31st to June 2nd, 2021, Order Number being SLP31962560. It was a resistance tube toning home gym equipment.
I received a message from Xpressbees on May 21st, 2021 saying that my shipment will be delivered today and then a few hours later saying that entry was denied so the parcel could not be delivered. I crosschecked with the security guards and I was informed that no such incident happened and he also showed me the entry/exit register maintained on the society gate. Apparently, I had also received another shipment from Dot and Key on the same date which clearly states that the statement mentioned by the Delivery person was incorrect.
On Monday May 24th 2021, I received a message from xpressbees saying that delivery could not be done since delivery boy reported that my address is incomplete on which I called customer care executive who verified my address and then assured me that delivery will be made within 24 hours but then 2 hours later, I again received a message stating that delivery could not be done since delivery boy reported that my address is incomplete. I again called the xpressbees customer care ( a different one ) reassured me that he will look into this matter, raise a complaint, will get a call arranged and get my parcel delivered within 24 hours but then nothing happened of this kind.
To my surprise, i received a message this morning from snapdeal with apologies for the delivery was not completed and asked for my feedback and next i know is my order has been cancelled by snapdeal and shipment is being delivered back to seller.
I then tried calling xpressbees executive but then could not get anything more than an apology and name of the delivery person ( his name is Akash, i couldnt hear his surname clearly ). However he mentioned that in case, Snapdeal cancel the cancellations and directs xpressbees to deliver my parcel, they will be able to do so.
I also tried calling snapdeal customer care executive on the number given over website which is an automated answering call that could not redress my grievance and wrote an email to snapdeal to kindly cancel the cancellation raised by snapdeal and get my product delivered to me at earliest.
In response to which i received an apology call from Snapdeal asking for a few details and requesting me to order the product further which now costs Rs. 395/-. When i explained the entire matter to this executive all he had to say was i am sorry mam and we cant do anything about this, so please reorder.
When i tried lodging a complaint about this entire incidence and against this delivery boy of xpressbees since he has not even bothered to call me once if at all he was facing any problems with entry in society or find my address, which clearly states that all these excuses are stories to cover his incompetency, I was redirected to the website of Indian Consumer Complaints Forum.
My concern here is, I order a lot of stuff which might be delivered through xpressbees courier services and i would not like to become a victim to such event again.
Kindly register this complaint of mind and looking for redressal at thee earliest.
