My name is saravanan from Avadi chennai. I left my vehicle for paid service at Elite Motors - Avadi. (Vehicle no - TN 20 BL 3065)
Following complaints were mentioned and noted in the Job card:
1. Front suspension not good. (Seal leak) - Not done due to spare not available
2. Rear suspension not good. - Not attended
3. Self not working some times. - Not accepted for battery change
4. Choke cable issue. - Not done due to spare not available
5. Rear brake not effective - Solved
6. Indicator not working. - Not attended
7. Engine oil change - Done
8. Oil filter - Not done (No evidence)
9. Spark plug cleaning - Done
10. Air filter change - Not done (No evidence)
11. Drive chain cleaning - Not done (No evidence)
Apart from this, technician has identified few problems and mentioned in the Job card:
1. Disc caliber assy - Not agreed for change by me
2. Battery - Not agreed for change by me
3. LH Switch assy - Not informed to me
4. F/brake switch - Not informed to me
5. Clutch Pel - Not informed to me
6. Choke cable - Informed but spare not available
7. Accelerator cable - Not informed to me
8. Carburettor needs to be changed.- Not informed to me
Out of 19 complaints in total :
Solved - 3
Spare not available - 2 (Choke issue repeated twice)
Not accepted to change by me - 3 (Battery issue repeated twice)
Not attended - 11
The purpose of servicing the bike was not solved... more than 50% of problems are not attended/solved. I was charged Rs 2428 (Attached invoice)
When i asked the technician, he mentioned clearly whatever mentioned in invoice was done remaining was not done...pls speak to supervisor.
I am shocked that a SIMPLE INDICATOR ISSUE was not attended. It means only basic jobs will be carried out and full charge for service will be charged to CUSTOMERS. This is clearly a STRATERGY of bringing the customer frequently for service and charging them fully.
More importantly, Incharge of Elite motors Avadi - Mr Richard is not bothered to talk to customer on this issue...Customer relationship manager - Ms Praba doesn't have any answer... Staff working there were trying to convince or cover up the issue...
I am totally dis-satisfied on the service provided to me.
Kindly look into this matter seriously and arrange for complete service of my bike without charging further upto the basic expectation.
