[Resolved] Yamaha Motor India — Fascino Yamaha - Vehicle problem from the 1st day of purchase
I am having the worst experience right from the time I have purchased my bike from Raj Yahama - Adayar branch Chennai on (07.10.2016). I have received my new bike with at-least 4-5 scratches on its body.
When I have gone back to change it, the outer body parts of the bike was removed from another bike and replaced it to this bike.
Later, the received bike seat was locked and was not able to open.
I had again gone back to get it unlocked it.
They had to rip the seat and unlock it, as it was locked when the outer body was changed. Again the seat was taken from another bike and replaced tot his bike.
Few days later I again called to complain that my bike stops every morning when I take the bike out for the first time. They have mentioned this would get this sorted during my 1st service.
Few days later I got a call to collect my RC card and my number plate was mentioned 3136 but I got my bike which had a number plate of 3736
My registered bike was given to me with a wrong number plate.
I had to again go and change the number plate.
After my 1st service - in-spite of me informing that the bike had a problem of stopping on the 1st time. This was not resolved.
They have mentioned that my new bike had a problem in the petrol tank lid and will take time to order a replacement under warranty
Post me calling and inquiring for it occasionally I was finally informed that the part has been received.
On Friday, When I reached the service center in Adyar - managed by Mr.Chanrasekar to give my bike service. He has bluntly refused to take my bike as he has too many bikes that day.
When I was insisting he mentioned he will give me the bike after 3 days (Even after I informed him the problems I had with my new bike from the time I have purchased )
I had to leave as I use my bike daily to go to work, I had come back today (Tuesday - Monday protest) at 10:00am and he mentioned that I have come late and he will only give it tomorrow.
His attitude was very evident that he does not want to complete a work but to bluntly neglect and take time and did not feel the need to do it on priority. I had insisted for the bike to be given the same day as I need to travel tomorrow.
By 18:30 (as I have expected) I get a call saying that the bike will only be given tomorrow.
I have been very patient with Yahama from the beginning but post today I have decided to complaint.
I hope cases and customers are taken seriously and wish Yahama sells New/Genuine products rather that reselling old vehicles.
Lastly I did not expect at-least the service at the service station to be so bad, that's why I feel the need to complaint
