Yepme.com — Wrong product being delivered

Hi, This is regarding my complaint number 1316999 for order number 11611636 and AWB no.- [protected]. The product was ordered online on Yepme.com but the product derived to me is different. I had ordered one Blue watch round dial shape for Rs. 299 COD on 12th January 2015. But the delieverd order is a faded mettalic Silver Colour with low quality. This issue was immediately reported to Yepme with no steps being taken yet. Please find the issues: I had to pay the money forcibly as the person who had come for the delivery said he is from courier service and not from Yepme. We had a long argument on this where in he said he is not responsible for the wrong product being delivered as he is just a person from the courier company. My concern is if one person is coming for the delivery of Yepme.com he will be considered from Yepme.com from a customer point of view. COD option is there because if you do not like the product you can return it (that is the whole purpose of COD benefit served by other major online websites). When I told the same to the courier person he informed that I cant return it as the package was opened and have to pay the full amount. Now, first if I do not open how will I come to know if the product delivered is the same or not and most importantly whether I would like to take it or not. Unfortunately, the product delivered to me was a different watch and not the one that I had ordered. Therefore, it was logical on my part not to keep it and return it. But surprisingly I was forced to keep it with me as I was informed that the courier person is not responsible for the wrong delivery. I sincerely paid the entire amount and kept the product with me. I immediately filed a complaint (Customer Care, spoke to Priyanka) about the issue and was said that I will receive a call regarding it which has not happened yet. I have stated the Complaint number above along with the order number. I have not seen any step being taken from Yepme's side yet about the complain and I guess the complain number is just for show. I am so disappointed with the entire service of yepme that now I have decided never to buy anything from your website and also would reccomend all my friends and known people not to buy anything from yepme. This was a disgusting experience and on top of that inspite of reporting the issue with the customer care along with the complain number no steps being taken yet. This is the least that a customer can expect after such a big blunder. Now if you people care atleast for the sake of your minimum reputation you can look into this matter and resolve it as soon as possible (which is highly doubtful though ). Hopeless !!!
