My phone number is [protected], long time back, once I did some shopping from http://www.yepme.com/ Since then I keep getting promotional messages from YEPME every now and then, which I do not want to receive . its extremely annoying . They ask to reply to that message to opt out which would be have a cost to it, if I reply to that message,
Why should a customer spend unnecessary money to get his or her number removed from some company's promotional list ( Marketing List). Suppose If I allow him to sent pramotional sms at the time of account creation but when I don not want it then Why should I pay for it.
Instead o[censored]sing Virtual Number they are using short code for unsubscribe. Also they can provide mobile number optout option on yepme account. So that any user do not want to received such sms then he can deactivate the same from yepme account.
Also When I Register a complaint on yempe Complaints portal I am getting error that my emial ID is not registered, But I am using same email ID for login into account. I am attached print screen of activation email which was received from yepme and error print screen.
It should be escalated to some higher authority and there should be a proper proceedings and some legal action against the company(http://www.yepme.com/).
