Zee Bangla Club — Dishonourable portrayal of female characters and alarming lack of diversity in the shows

I'm writing to you out of dire need to express my dissent regarding the popular portrayal of stereotypes in your shows( specific reference: Bengali shows). The way I see it, the shows, in a collective sense, convey an intense patriarchal tone that happens to possibly reassert an idea of patricentric superiority in the subconscious of the viewers. This assertion, although not stark, is seemingly ingrained in the manner the female potrayal is utterly limited to the confines o[censored]nrealistic household drama and essentially disregarded ( or sidelined) career options. What I want to express is the fact that there is a clear assertion of meek romanticized 'damsel-in-distress' kind of female potrayal as positive, while in most of your shows a stronger, 'louder' female lead is automatically assigned the potrayal of the scheming antagonist. To speak the truth, this misrepresentation is in turn resulting in a permanent entrenchment of strict gender roles or a cliched idea of "The Perfect Homely Woman" (acceptable and desirable) in the minds of female (as well as male) consumers. This (considering today's era housing a rising case of inhuman violence against women) is something that sternly needs to be refrained from being openly broadcasted.
The 2nd point that I think should be attended to is the fact that most of your shows revolve around an essentially (upper-class/superiorly wealthy) home oriented family drama (with career options playing as easy peasy achievable arenas on the sidelines). I'd like to suggest you to at least try and depict varied scenes of grassroots level (or middle class) arenas such as struggles of a growing small scale business, workplace drama, realistic courtroom dramas or it can even be police dramas; in a word, something which is even a bit differential from overused home-oriented romantic plot points. In case you do want to stick to family dramas, I'd be super elated if you try out reality based potrayal of notable classic Bengali works of literature.
The last and final point that I thought needs to be addressed is the potrayal of LGBTQIA+ ( specific mention: Transgender) community in one of your recent shows. Although I do genuinely applaud you for the benchmark introduction of the referred potrayal on TV, but in a way the potrayal seems mostly based on popular treatment of the community bound in ignorance which brings me to the impression that the potrayal might backfire a further feeling of non-acceptance and selective hatred in the minds of the viewers( by instinctively trying to emulate the antagonistic act of shaming the community). In the end, all I want to say is that my concern was generated by the idea that a vast majority of younger consumers who hail from less-privileged backgrounds and don't have broader ways of exposing themselves to worldly ideas might be susceptible to holding on to a wrong or deeply flawed gender-disparity embodied idea of life.
