In yesterday's episode of jago mohan pyare (जागो मोहन प्यारे), traffic police out post (*वाहतूक पोलीस चौकी*) is shown as r t o police chowky (आर टी ओ पोलीस चौकी) Here i would like to clear that traffic police branch is under police department with head quarters at worli mumbai which primarily looks after traffic regulation and prosecutes for violations thereof, whereas rto (Regional transport office/प्रादेशिक परिवहन कार्यालय) are headed by transport commissioner, maharashtra state and functions under transport ministry, primarily works as registering authority, licensing authority and taxation authority with major focus on issues other than traffic regulations. This department don't have any constabulary staff. So situation in the said serial appropriately demands for board "वाहतूक पोलीस चौकी, नाना रोड" with traffic police constabulary staff wearing uniform in white n khaki colour.
