If you want an example of pathetic then it is Zopnow and their customer care representatives.
The above order # had 2 items that I wanted to return. The first was a hair oil that I did not want and the second was a set of 4 apples which was rotten on delivery.
The cost of the items were as follows -
Biotique Oil – 138.33
Apples – 258.00 for 2 packs
Remember that the apples are charged per pack of 4 apples irrespective of their weight.
Here is what I should ideally be refunded for my returns -
Biotique Oil – 138.33
Apples – 129.00
Total – 267.33
But I was refunded Rs. 213.28. On checking with and in spite of explaining it in multiple emails, this is the response I get from their customer care reps..

Since there is there is weight variation in the fruits and vegetables and also price discrepancy on some of the products, the prices have been adjusted accordingly and the remaining amount of Rs 213.28, is refunded to the original mode of payment. We have sent the updated invoice to your registered mail id.

Call their customer care numbers and you are disconnected saying they will call back because their agents are busy and there is no call back.
I am looking for a solution to this in the next 24 hours. Otherwise my next step is to sent a notice and put a case with the Consumer court even if that means I need to spend multiple times of what I am supposed to get as refund.
