[Resolved] Aircel — Automatic unauthorised VAS Activation, Renewal and balance deduction | |||||
Dated[protected],[protected],[protected] my aircel prepaid number [protected] got charged for VAS services. Neither had i requested for the sevices nor did i receive any confirmation call from any aircel customer care centres. Is this a new way of revenue generation by aircel? How is the system designed that before renewing a VAS service, any confirmation is not asked for from customer. Post the balance deduction the customer has been informed that their account has been already been charged!!! Can the company support with data that how it got started? I never made a call, received a call or made requests online for any services that i have been charged for. Moreover the customer care executives are so incapable to handling a customer request. They do not want to escallate the call. They are rude. I spoke to Diptimay Sahoo from Bhubaneswar call centre, and she was absolutely unable to address my concern. We have verified your account details and found that, on dated 01st Oct 2015 a content service "JSHASHTR30, TINYTV30" has been subscribed from your number [protected] through transaction mode WAP and an amount of Rs.60/- was deducted from your account towards service subscription charges then 01-Oct-15 Rs.19/- deducted for the rental charge for this service . However as per your request the service has been deactivated from your number to avoid further renewal of the service. Hence we regret to inform you that we will not able to post any adjustments in this regard.
