We had booked Meru Cab on 30th Nov 2021 to go to Moti Daman from Mumbai Airport on 15th Dec 2021. Our flight landed at 11.30 am on 15th Dec 2021, when we arrived at the terminal I got an SMS which was sent at 11.00 am (I was inside the flight hence received it when I came out of the flight) the message read as follows :
"Hey Francis, we are so sorry! We couldn't find a cab for your Meru Booking ID 62205442. Refund of Amount Rs.322 is initiated. You will receive the same within 7 working days. We regret the inconvenience caused."
We were stranded not knowing what to do, this was last minute cancellation by Meru Cab. I called Meru Cab customer care, I was told they couldn't get a driver who was willing to go to Daman. It took us 45 minutes to locate the counter for booking a cab, finally we found Akbar Travels and we booked our trip to Moti Daman. The question is how do we rely on such people who deceive you at the last moment. Its not question of advance paid but wastage of time. We reached home 2 hours late and all were worried. I will not recommend Meru Cab to anybody I know. Was this information helpful? |
