[Resolved] Aircel — Extravagant billing and continual threatening even after porting | |||
To whom so ever it may concern I was with the Aircel network for well over 3 years. I started off with a 200 plan offered for corporate. I had 3 connections [protected], [protected] and [protected]. All of a sudden this plan was scrapped off. New plan without any explanation was thrust upon me. When I had a freedom for using unlimited internet in the earlier 200 plan, the basic expectation was in the revised plan the same will continue or at the least the plan limitations should have been briefed. But no why should Aircel bother to explain after all it has all authority to cheat. So with this kind of attitude Aircel proceeds to bill me to the tune of 600+ and 800+ amounts. I being a reasonable person walked to Aircel show room 5 to 6 times and spoke to customer care 200 times explaining my ordeal. But all the geniuses working there did not have any solution. Aircel just replied saying that if that is the bill amount it is because of internet usage. If the bill is not paid your connection will be terminated and they further threatened that my phone number will be cancelled. Feeling threatened paid all the extravagant bills and requested a plan change. The thugs and criminals acted like the request is being processed and proceeded to act saying that the plan was in process for some 349 plan, where unlimited internet can be used. Being a humble person I believed the guise. Then Aircel sends a message showing its true colors: the request cannot be processed and I am liable for paying such high bills. After all aricel has the authority to steal correct????? To the numb skull reading this: Currently I have ported 2 of my numbers [protected] and [protected] to another network, only after getting robbed by you repeatedly. Again I am receiving calls from Aircel stating that I have to pay rs 197 for my number [protected], with the usual threats of cancelling my number. I have been robbed enough by you thugs and cheated for a lifetime. I am going to port my remaining number [protected] as soon as possible. If the reader of this mail has any semblance of shame, waive off the bill amount that you are trying to rob from me yet again. If you do not me will lodge a complaint with police and will take up the issue with consumer court and escalate the matter to the highest possible authority.
