[Resolved]  Aircel — Postpaid Services

I have registered for the ircell postpaid services almost ten months back, During the enrollement they have told me that the basic plan is 199, Which includes one GB of 3G data and some local and STD calls for free. If I exceed the limit i have to pay extra based on the usage, Tariff details.

I use to receive higher bills almost all of the time even tough i dont use my mobile. When ever i called them to know the reason they use to say that i was subscribed to thee Value added services. I take it on a lie note and requested them to take away all of the services and they did it, On the next month they charge me around 700 saying that i use the data in roaming, Tough its a very steep billing for my usage i aggreed and paid the bill.

Recently I got my August bill which is amounts to 447Rs. n this month i hace completely stopped using my mobile data aswell as calls, As got wifi and free STD and local calls for the internet connection. I was surprised to see the bill, so i called Aircel customer care to know what is happening. They replied me that Aircel have reviced the planes and now i am in 299 plan which i was not opted for at first place and without any intimation and a formal approval from myside they have changed my plan and started charging me extra. When i told them that i dont know that my basic plan has been changed, they informed me that they have send a SSM and a notification to intimate me. I pardent to differ with there side, Cus they might have send me the notification but i never accepted nor given any formal approval for my base plan changes.

After having a call they are telling me that i dont have any othe option than to pay the bill. This is a clear case of cheatting where Aircel ha commited a crime of not providng enough informatoin before changing my plane to higher value and demanding to pay me the bill. Even if it is with in the clause business rules. I would like to know if Aircel changes it plan to one thousand do everone have to pay the bil amount without raising any concern.

No one have informed me that Aircell has right to change the palne without my approval, not the saleman, nor te customer service team. I request you to address this issue, cus it is not about changing my basic plan it is about how they are misleading customers by hiding informatoin and changing customer more by upgrading them to higher value services withut any approval from him. Acording to me they have chagred me an extra amount without my knowledge and to continue my services i have to pay it from now. As they have donee this withut my knowledge i consider this as a robbery.
