[Resolved]  Aircel — Proof changed by aircel

My mother got a duplicate sim as she lost her mobile in 2009 approx. Now the sim is damaged, and when i requested to change the sim, they say that the sim is not in her name.

She got a duplicate sim by giving a written letter and her proof at spencer plaza, chennai. You guys should have misplaced the proof and updated someone's proof with my mother's. Your customer service is the worst i have ever seen. Planning to move out of your network (All 4 o[censored]s).

Rectify your mistake as soon as possible. My mother's mobile no. [protected] and my number is [protected].

They didn't help me out at all. They sent a person for verification of my Mom. Verification was positive. But they are asking to transfer all the amount to another number for which I was charged Rs.10. Then they are saying that my mom's sim will be deactivated and I need to purchase a new sim from a nearby Aircel showroom and request the same number, for which again I need to pay (for the sim as well as for the first and second recharge). And my mom's number will be inactive for 1 whole day. She is an advocate and how can you guys expect her to be without her mobile number?

The mistake is your's not ours. I need your mistake to be rectified without us being charged. You should provide a new sim and bear all the charges.

If this is not going to be rectified, I'll go the next level.
