[Resolved]  Aircel — Unwanted subscriptions and charges

I'm not sure why I was charged Rs. 50 on account of Video Talkies which I have no clue about and don't require this.

Kindly cancel the subscription & refund my Rs.50/-

Please find the attached confirming the amount of Rs.50 deducted from my account in lieu of Video Talkies which I didn't subscribed to & don't want to use.

Not a very good practice and its at-least the 3rd time I'm following up for this REFUND...!!!

Thanks for stopping both the VAS.

Well, all i can say is I've not initiated any such request and I guess have to be more careful if I see any ads of Aircel popping up while using apps in my phone. Perhaps, if this continues I'll have to maintain 0 balance so from avoiding getting charged. :)

Its been a long follow up with you folks & I don't understand why the charges of Rs. 50 towards VTALKIES is not refunded while I had raised the complaint on the same day.

Kindly go to the first thread regarding this complaint to see that I have raised the initial complaint on 16th March itself when I got charged and its only from your side the response was delayed towards my complaint.

I would consider this issue as resolved only once I received my refund of Rs. 50.

Please find the proof regarding my complaint raised on 16th March & I see that Aircel has been notifed & its a delay on your fault.

I have not delayed to come to you with the unwanted subscription & don't see any reason why you can't refund my Rs.50.

No response on my refund yet.. Pathetic..

Dear Jayan Bhaskaran,

We verified your number and found that the download request has been initiated from your end through WAP mode on 16/3/2016 and 22/3/2016. The packs are VTALKIES and MOBCGK30. Hence amount of Rs.40 and Rs.3 deducted for the same. Amount of Rs.3 was credited since there is complaint raised within 24 hrs for the same.

Hello Sir / Madam,

I'm not a user who started using internet only since the last month. I've been a great fan of Aircel for atleast last 5-6 years and still sticking with you because most of your offers are attractive and suiting my requirements.

However it's only during the last 6 months or so I've been going through weird experiences like getting automatically subscribed for some of your stuffs (which I'm not even aware of & don't want too be aware of) for which you deduct money from my talktime.

Well, I'm extremely amused by your previous response especially the statement the credit would be made if the complaint is made within 24 hours. Are you guys, really looking into the attachments which I had shared as proof? Well, if you had missed to look, let me attach it again.

I'm not going to stop following up until I receive the refund of Rs. 50 toward VTALKIES.

We verified the your number and found that the download request has been initiated from your end through WAP mode on 29/3/2016. The pack is VTALKIES and amount of Rs.50 deducted for the same. The same had consent ID. Hence charged deducted are authentic

Could you share the consent ID please?

A question still prevails, if I had given my consent, why on earth should I come to you claiming refund? Are you telling I'm a fool?

I'm not going to stop this thread unless I get the refund.
