I have raised a request on 14th april 2017 to convert my post paid airtel number "[protected]" to prepaid. The signals wentoff on my old postpaid sim on the same day after i submitted the request in the airtel office. I got the signals after 2 days (16th april 2017) on my new prepaid sim. When i call customer care for activation of services on my new prepaid sim, the customer care guys said like details not reflecting at their end and asked me to follow up with the airtel office guys where i submitted my identity and address proofs. After following up multiple times with airtel office guys and customer care guys after 7 days my details were reflecting at customer care guys level (24april 2017).
But when i asked to activate the services, they denied and asked me to call 59059 for activation. When i dailed 59059 from my prepaid number its not working.
Got fed up with this process and came to know how worst the airtel services and the response everytime i get from airtel with eta of 48 hours is irritating me.
As of today its my 10th day without my sim connection... Where you can understand my situation. Hopelessly updating here out of frustration as my final option.
Planning to remove this connection after couple of days if this is not working any more.
