On 18 december 2018, i had given a request for immediate disconnection of our broadband and telephone line with airtel.
I explained that the reason for disconnection was purely personal and inability to continue to pay such a high monthly charges being a retired and senior citizen.
After that i received several calls from airtel with various offers which i declined and reiterated my request for disconnection. Airtel continued with regular calls to the point of harassing me.
Today i visited airtel in medavakkam, chennai and was connected to airtel customer service who informed me that airtel had not disconnected. However, airtel took the request for cancellation under their reference no.[protected] saying the number would be disconnected within 05 days.
I am very disappointed with the services of airtel.
