Airtel — airtel mobile excess billing | |||||
We have been airtel customers for more than a decade and all my family members have been using airtel connection for longtime now. The subject number is in my name though is used by my wife. She visited dubai in the month of oct 2017 and opted for an international package for rs.2999. This amount was paid in the subsequent billing cycle. She again made 2 weeks trip to dubai starting dec 23rd 2017 until jan 6th, 2018. We were debited rs.2999 two times (Apprx rs. 7500 inclusive of taxes), even though we had not opted for this service on this trip. You would notice that there has hardly been any usage on this number while we were in dubai. I fail to understand how could the same service be auto activated without taking a consent from the customer. The total bill amount has been paid in a timely manner in spirit of a long drawn relationship with airtel, i am surprised that no action has been taken despite my multiple calls to your customer care. You would notice that only 5 calls were received attracting a charge of rs. 630 only. L during our stay in dubai during the period stated above. Was this information helpful? | |||||
