I am a postpaid customer with Airtel (Mobile No. [protected]). I am an NRI and thus staying abroad. Last week all of a sudden, my SIM isn't working.
I contacted Airtel customer care via email. The solution that Airtel team is telling me is for my blood relative to go to an Airtel store in India and get new physical SIM. This is ridiculous from their side. I don't have a blood relative in India at the moment.
Now I have to spend money on flight ticket and come to India and get a new SIM. Until then, I am not able to access any of my bank accounts and can't do any transactions. And all this, while my monthly postpaid bill keeps running.
They need to give me a better solution so that i can get it resolved without having to travel to India or get anyone else involved. Or else they can pay me compensation for the hardship they are costing me. Was this information helpful? |
