[Resolved]  Airtel — Broadband Complaint and plan change

Hi,

I claimed the 'Airtel Broadband 2 Million surprise offer' and got a confirmation on 6th March. I spoke to your customer service representative on 8th March regarding that and changing my plan. Her name was Naomi. She confirmed the following with me.

1. 25GB was not possible, so she will activate 15GB extra twice.
2. Starting the next bill cycle, my plan will be changed to the following
a. I will get 50GB broadband data with Unlimited Calling for 999 per month (same plan given online)
b. the 25GB bonus data will be carried forward in my new plan
c. I will NOT be charged Rs. 1000 extra for new router.

Later that day, I got a notification that 50GB Smartbytes had been activated and I was charged Rs. 499 for it.

I spoke to another representative, she told me that she will deactivate the plan and the amount will not be charged. She gave me a req no :[protected]. She also confirmed my new plan and said

"Sir, router ka charge toh lagega hi"
"Mujhe call pe bola gaya tha ki nahi lagega"
"Toh phir nahi lagega", and she cut the call.

Today morning I spoke to another representative, Aparna. She cleared everything and said none of the above was registered, not the plan, not the complaint and the request number never starts with 289.

Now, I would like you to do 1 of these 2 things:
1. Give me exactly the plan that was promised by 'Naomi',
OR
2. Deactivate my account before my next bill cycle (26th March).

I gave you this huge explanation because this is not the first time your customer care has given false information so confidently. I was charged nearly Rs 3000 extra a few months back because of false claims by your representative. You can check the conversations we had and do the right thing.
