I applied for a broadband connection and got into contact with their executive called Pankaj who visited my home. He showed me some FUP plans, since I am a hardcore user, I asked him for non-FUP plans because they weren't going to suit me.
Now here begins their trickery, he was very vague in his answers, when I asked him will I get 'unlimited' data without any FUP limits and speed cutting down, he would say 'Yes yes' but not show any concrete plan. I confronted him with that and he called another executive probably on the phone and I asked him, he said he was giving us the '999rs for 30 GB' plan but since they're having competition from Jio the first three months would be unlimited data. I confirmed the same with both of them atleast 10 times, and then placed the order.
Now imagine my horror, when the same day my connection starts, my 30 GB runs out in 2 hours. I call Pankaj, he BLATANTLY refused saying 'I never told you it was unlimited, we agreed on the 999 Rs. 30 GB plan' and there began my horror story, we called Airtel Sales/Customer division and had literally no help. They said ' We will add another 105 GB and work out the solution'. We waited for 2 weeks and we didn't see anything more than 5 GB. Pankaj refused to talk to us, Sales Division said they were helpless and couldn't do anything about the situation.
My dad got frustrated and told them to cancel the connection, this was 3 days before I write this complaint, and our connection hasn't even been disconnected. I'm pretty sure they're waiting for 1 month or something to be over so they can deny a refund. I'm writing here in hopes of a Govt. Body seeing how blatantly I have been cheated at each and every front from a big company like Airtel, and their employees are to put it lightly 'SCUMBAGS' who cheat customers without a semblance of a conscience.
I don't think this will get resolved, frankly I don't want to have anything to do with Airtel, I will spread this loud and clear and just want this BS company to be out. Infact I'm switching everyone in our house to another SP. No Airtel for us. Was this information helpful? |
I just want you to either give what was promised i.e a no FUP 16mbps connection or disconnect it. I don't want any other alternative.
I've suffered quite enough.
