Airtel Broadband — New Internet Connection delayed repeatedly

I requested for a new Internet connection on the 16th of April, 2014 and made a deposit of Rs. 500 online. For over 2 weeks there was no response from Airtel regarding the new Internet connection and no representative from Airtel even took an effort to contact me or to collect the documents as required by the service provider. After losing my patience, I called up airtel customer service to check on my application and I was repeatedly promised by the representatives for 3 consecutive days that someone from airtel will contact me for sure and will be made sure that I get the connection as requested, ironically no one called or showed up. On the 4th day I called up Airtel, cancelled the connection and asked for the refund of my deposit. New connection details below: CAF No - ONCHENN00734558 Transaction ID[protected] Transaction Date & Time[protected]:27:05.711072 Amount - 500 After 2 days, which was 23rd of May... A representative from Airtel called and promised that he will collect the document from me on 24th, which actually the only thing he did and promised me once again that the connection will be made secure and installed at the premises on the 26th of May. Despite asking him several times whether they'll be able to make sure of the connection definitely on 26th and he did promise, took an advance amount of Rs. 2000 for the connection and gave me a receipt with Serial No. TNPB312605. Ever since I've been following up with this representative named Mr. Senthil Kumar. R, until today and this representative and his manager have been promising all over again to get the connection sorted out and its been 5 days from the day they promised and no sign of connection yet despite telling them that my work depends on the Internet connection. I deeply find this intimidating and taken for granted just because I've been patient enough with the service provider. I sincerely hope this would shed some light on the poor customer service by airtel broadband and would like to know if there's anything can be done to escalate this issue to get some justice.
