Vidyaranpura airtel wifi service providers are cheaters and shameless people
I took airtel 4g hotspot wifi connection ([protected] hotspot no.) in june 2015 and the airtel representative (Manjunath) assured me that the speed in my area is 15 -18 mbps. I got that speed for 10 days and after that the speed dropped to 1-1.5 mbps . I registered a compliant for this in july’15 & airtel manager sudarshini told me that they have to install a new tower to improve the speed and it will take 3 months. I continued paying the bills with a discount of 200/- which was very less for the kind of data speed i was getting. I also need to invest rs500/- on reliance net connect dongal every month to take calls from home as with airtel speed of 1-1.5mbps, i could hardly check emails only. So overall i was paying rs 300/- extra every month in order to manage my work. Sudarshini gave me false hopes and assurance that things will become better but nothing happened till now even after 9 months also. I registered a new compliant and asked them to cancel and disconnect my connection as i am no longer interested but they didn’t cancelled my connection also they did nothing. The customer care representative even told me that this is the best speed you can get in that area and airtel can’t do anything. I told the same thing to sudarshini and told her that why they lied to me for over so many months when they knew that nothing can be done. I even told her that i will stop paying the bills as enough is enough. She very rudely replied to me and disconnected the call. After that she stopped replying to my emails and started disconnecting my calls every time. Finally they disconnected my service in march 2016 but they kept on generating bills which shows their true character and class. These guys are pathetic and cheaters.
I didn’t mean to say here that airtel as a whole is a team of cheaters but definitely vidyaranpura airtel office and their manager and her team are no. 1 cheaters and they just don’t care about their customers. I request to all my friends and their friends to at least forward this review to as many people so that a lesson can be taught to them. This is what maximum i and you all can do to improve the service quality of airtel. Today it happened to me and tomorrow the same can get repeated to you too. So before you suffer please make them suffer so that they improve the service and signal quality all over the bangalore and even outside.

I completely agree with Airtel bad service. They are very bad in terms of providing customer support. Similar exp was faced by me as well, where wifi router will stop working anytime and will impact our work commitments. While calling customer support they will start talking about their SLA, non availability of technical staff, or any other silly reason which is not acceptable at all many a times. I have been given reasons by Airtel customer case during my wifi problems, that entire Bangalore server is down, which is really not easy to digest, as this is not possible. For payments, they are always on time, but when it comes to customer issues they are hardly on time.

In nutshell, the customer support is very bad in Airtel, and until you reach to next level of escalation, its difficult to get a resolution. Being such a big brand, they should be customer-centric, rather than giving reasons to linger on the customer issues.
I fully support this concern and this needs to be taken seriously for such big giants, so that they should stop harassing customers.
I completely agree. I too had a similar bad experience with Airtel. They charged me for a month without even providing the broadband connection.

I am n my family are using Airtel GSM service, but from last few days their is big problem call drope. I am not able to pick any call as well as call. Due to dat I missed many important calls. I have also tried to contact customer care but it also not connected.
You guys are biggest cheat and has not done anything to improve your image in last 1 year particularly .. your customer care representatives are pathetic and never listen to the customers.. I kept on saying to cancel my connection when I knew that your speed can not increase more than 2 MBPS ... But they never cancelled the connection and kept on generating the bills.. I will stop and keep quiet unless and untill you take action against the Airtel vidyaranpura manager, Sudarshini who was the main culprit who kept me in dark and kept on giving me false hopes and commitment month on month and intentionally she did nothing to improve my data speed in my area/house..
