Airtel — complaint against hidden/false charge for porting of mobile number | |||
This is to inform that due to transfer from Delhi to Nashik, recently, I have ported my airtel mobile no[protected] from Delhi NCR circle to Nashik, Maharashtra which I am using since 2010-11. However, it has been noticed that an amount of Rs. 2500/- has charged as “Vanity pnc gold” in my first months bill. Consequently, I have talked to customer care and registered a complaint for resolve the issue. However, airtel company has not taken any action. Moreover, it has been instructed to pay the amount. However, it is not clear for me that why I should pay extra amount as I am using above no since 2010-11 and just ported my own mobile number from “Airtel, Delhi NCR to Airtel, Nashik, Maharashtra” due to location change. Further, during the porting time no executives from airtel retailer shop has raised the issue. Moreover, they have ensured that no additional charge will be taken for porting the mobile no. Regarding above issue, I have visited to retail shop of Airtel and it has been intimated by them that a request has been forwarded to resolve the issue but they are not sure regarding the end results. Hence, it is my humble request to take my case to resolve the issue as it is public harassment by airtel. Moreover, being a citizen of India it quite surprise for me that how airtel company are cheated with public. For any more information please contact me on following no.[protected].
