i, TAPAN KUMAR DUTTA regular user of Airtel 4G connection (no. [protected]) was approached by one Airtel agent (ARB GLOBAL VENTURES, P-162 CIT SCHEME, KOL-54) to help me increase speed & stop frequent interruptions of my connection. In turn he convinced me to go for a new SIM & promised to give me trouble-free new connection. hence i agreed & applied for new connection 14.01.15. He informed that it will be activated in next 48hrs. He also told me to send mail to Airtel for disconnection of my existing no. [protected] which i did.
after that i received call from Airtel service & wanted to know why i am disconnecting. i explained about my problem & informed above mentioned actions by Airtel agent. The service man told me not to disconnect existing connection & instructed me over phone how to reset my connection to get problems solved. i followed & found problems are eliminated. hence i wanted to follow his advises. he confirmed me that my connection ([protected]) will not be disconnected & my new request for connection (i got sms that new connection no [protected]) will be de-activated.
once that is done, i started getting repeated calls from Airtel representatives (always thru phones whom i cannot trace). all the calls are for re-conneting of [protected]. i refused to do that. then i sent mails to Airtel '[protected]@in.airtel.com' & explained my entire problem. also requested to help me out.
my only request is i have 1 dongol. i want to keep 1 connection i.e [protected]. i am still getting phones for reconnection of [protected]. i dont know who can help me.
MY REQUEST TO AIRTEL IS PLEASE REFRAIN YOUR AGENTS FROM MISGUIDING GENUINE CUSTOMERS LIKE ME. LET US GET CORRECT ADVISE FROM THEM.
I AM HAPPY WITH MY EXISTING CONNECTION [protected]. PLEASE KEEP IT. PLEASE DISCONNECT [protected], IF BY CHANCE CONNECTED. I SHALL NOT PAY FOR 2 CONNECTIONS AGAINST SINGLE DONGOL. REGARDS TAPAN KUMAR DUTTA ([protected]) Was this information helpful? |
