[Resolved] Airtel — Delay in Airtel Prepaid Sim Activation. No proper response from Customer Care | |||
I am Jayakarthigayan Sridharan. I bought an Bharti Airtel Prepaid Sim card last saturday for my wife (on 30th November 2013). The dealer informed us that the sim will be activated within 3 days of time. But the sim is not activated till now.We checked with the dealer and he confirmed that all the required documents are submitted to Bharti airtel. When we called to Airtel Customer Care, they said airtel won't be able to do anything for delay in activation and i have to contact only my dealer. As i already mentioned, my dealer already confirmed lots of time that all the documents are sent to airtel and he is not able to tell why the activation process is taking so long. We are paying lots of money as roaming charge due to this issue and don't how a customer can know why his sim activation is taking so much time. Please do the needful and activate the sim quickly.
