[Resolved] Airtel Digital TV — Unreasonable Charges | |||
Hi, I'm using a Airtel Digital TV connection and have a Super Mega Package which I renew periodically every month. Last month I was travelling and not able to recharge the account due to which my services got discontinued. A day later I re-charged the account as usual but the company has charged a late payment charges i.e. Rs 20.00 and deducted the same from the account balance. This is un-reasonable that how a company can charge a late payment charge on a pre-paid account. They can only stop the services once the balance gets exhausted, but they can not charge any amount to resume the services. It's like pre-paid connection in mobile services, if you have balance you can use the services else the services will be stopped. Moreover I haven't been informed earlier about these late payment charges, if I can get SMS to recharge they can simply mention the same there. They keep the customer in totally shadow.
