Airtel — disconnection of airtel broadband and landline | |||
Hi, I have been using the airtel connection broadband for approx 4 years now, due to relocation to new place i had requested airtel to disconnect the broadband connection with landline on 22nd december 2017. The request number as 91611560 From the day of the request i received calls on daily basis from customer care requesting me to retain the connection or transfer it to some other person but do not disconnect.in all the calls i clearly stated that i want to disconnect my connection. I do not want to take any hassle and just disconnect my broadband with landline - happy to make any pending payments. On 4th january' 2018 i received the call stating that i have to make pending bill payment as i have accepted a different offer from airtel and they have closed the disconnection request. This is a total false and wrongdoing from airtel as i do not need the connection and just want to disconnect. If airtel customer care can provide recording or and evidence that i have requested to retain and accept new offer, i am happy to pay 10 times the bill amount. As an evidence from my end i have the above disconnection request[protected] I would like to know why customer care of airtel is indulging in such wrong doing where customer has never accepted any offer for retention.
