I have a postpaid airtel mobile connection no [protected] having relationship no [protected] which i am using since last 4 years. I have ported this number from bangalore to hyderabad in feb 2016. I was in ethiopia since oct 2014 and the phone was on international roaming. My bill used to be rs 600-800 per month. After porting the number while in india i started to ethiopia on 19 feb 2016. On 20 feb i received an sms from airtel stating that my mobile is downloading some data and informed me that he is stopping the same. Then i received a bill of rs 20406.31 on 26 feb 2016 instead o[censored]sual rs 600 to 800/-
Airtel is unable to tell me any details other than stating 23.99 mb downloaded, where as i have not downloaded any data nor visited any internet site. Airtel is not answering my specific queries.
On 20 apr 2016 airtel disconnected the mobile and i am in ethiopia with out any communication to my family in india. There seems to be no proper mechanism in airtel to resolve grievances of customers. Was this information helpful? |
