[Resolved] Airtel — False/Double Billing for Internation Roaming | |||
Hi, I am Airtel customer and till now have been paying the bills regularly without any delays. I had gone to Canada on 24-Sep-2014. I called up Airtel call center and requested for International Roaming. I was tole d that the international roaming is for 199/Month. So i requested them to activate International Roaming. They asked me if any value added IR packs are required which will cost 3500/-. I categorically told them that i donot require it. I deactivated by Internation roaming on 19-Oct or 20-Oernatict(I donot remember the date exactly) However i was billed for 3500/- pack in the Sept-Oct bill. I paid the same. I was again billed for 3500 in Oct-Nov billing cycle. I called them up and requested them to look in to it, i was told that only internation roaming was deactivated and not IR pack. I am surprised with the below: 1) Even after asking them not to activate IR pack they activated the same. 2) After that on deactivating the International roaming they still are charging me for the IR pack. I am not sure what will i do with I pack if international roaming is deactivated. Thanks, Sachin Was this information helpful? | |||
