[Resolved]  Airtel — Family plan

Hi,

I'm writing this email as your on the call representatives have not been able to resolve my issues/queries regarding my family plan.
Also, because my phone is currently barred to make outgoing calls.
And, this would be a “kind” of written complaint & hopefully would have some kind of record as the verbal calls are either mismanaged OR never given heed to at “Airtel”.

Issue :
We have a family plan of three phone#s. I.e. “XXXXX XXX25”, “XXXXX XXX10” & “XXXXX XXX10”.
But of late we are getting separate bill for “XXXXX XXX025 + XXXXX XXX10” and separate bill for “XXXXX XXX10”.
This should never have happened DESPITE of verbal confirmations.
I however do know why this MIGHT have happened for which you need understand history as below….

CALL# 1
I called Airtel…approx 3months back asking them to remove me from Family plan.
The reason for my request was that my friends who had stand-alone phone#s were getting better deals from Airtel.
And, I was told that I can’t avail this since I had family plan.
The process to de-link my phone# was so complicated that I told the person on phone line NOT to change the plan & keep it as it is.

CALL# 2
The next month I paid the phone bill as usual BUT phone# XXXXX XXX10 was disconnected.
Upon enquiring I was told that this number has been removed from family plan.
I told them that this is not the case & I had changed my request.
And told them to join the number again to “my family plan”.
I was told that I should first pay that months bill which I remember some 500 odd rupees & for future it will part of the plan again.

Subsequent to above the next month I feel was clubbed together & as paid only 1 time for all 3 numbers.
This month however again there are separate bills for "XXXXX XXX025 + XXXXX XXX10” and separate bill for “XXXXX XXX10” !!!

I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE LOOK INTO ABOVE & TELL ME WHAT HAS HAPPENED.
WHY ARE ALL MY REQUESTS NOT GIVE HEED TO ??
YOU SHOULD HAVE MY TELE CONVERSATIONS IN YOUR SYSTEM.
I NEED A SOLUTION AS I'm NOT GOING TP PAY SEPARATE BILLS DESPITE OF MY MANY DISCUSSIONS.

AWAITING FOR AN EARLY RESOLUTION TO ABOVE AS I’M PUTTING THE PAYMENT ON HOLD FOR THIS.

Till date no resolution.
Got calls from appellate & after repeating myself to 2 different persons..i was told that complaint has been escalated.
New invoice is also raised BUT no solution to old one.
Have called Airtel helpline multiple times & have repeated myself many times ONLY to have a new person hear me repeat my ordeal with assurance that it will be solved BUT how ?? No one has an answer.
No empathy & out going is barred for last 3days !!

There is no mechanism in place at Airtel to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
No single point person...each time a new person.
They should close the airtel helpline as they offer no help !

got a call yesterday evening from appellate saying that issue will be resolved today.
Still waiting !
