My mobile was absolutely in working . Switched from Vodafone to Airtel as Airtel assured best network and service. Handset got damaged . immediately information given to Airtel and claim was lodged . Documents were uploaded. Handset pick up was made by Airtel on 11th July 2018. Airtel secure asked to make 10% payment . And immediate I have made the payment. Airtel secure team called me and confirmed that payment has been received and within 7 days handset will be repaired. Airtel informed that there is liquid damage . I gave feedback that due to crack liquid might have gone there. Also I raised following questions .
Q.1How Airtel states that water ingress has not happened between date of reporting incident and date of collection of handset? How technical team has qualified that there was liquid damage before collision and not after collision?
Q.2 How Airtel has arrived at Conclusion that water ingress has happened before incident date ?
Q.3 How Airtel has ruled out possibility of water ingress due to two cracks on screen .July Being Rainey season having huge humidity ?
Q.4 How Airtel has ruled out possibility of water ingress at the time of pick n dispatch of handset.
Q.5 Damage in detail was reported so was it not Airtel’s responsibility to check extend of damage and then approach and get claim approved ???
Airtel did not gave answer . Then I approached nodal office and nodal office assured delivery within 72Hrs. Ref: Email from nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com Sat[protected].
Airtel appellate Gujarat appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com vide email dated[protected] also assured repaired handset delivery.
Yesterday Handset delivered which is not in working condition !!!
Airtel has kept mobile under their custody for more than 30 days and returned damaged non working mobile.
