Airtel — i approached airtel for a connection on the 21st of Mar'15 but i still havent got the number activated

The worst experience anyone can ever imagine. The airtel outlet near ayyappa temple is the best example how worst can a service be to the core. I had filled the for a postpaid connection number [protected], on the 21st of Mar’2015. The lady by name Kavitha [protected] to the details and after checking all the documents she said that the number will be activated by Tuesday 24th Mar’2015. On Tuesday the number was not activated, Wednesday it wasn’t activated, Thursday I called her and she said it will be activated by the evening but it didn’t. On Friday I went to the showroom and I noticed that she was just working on the file when I asked her about the activation she said it will be activated today evening but again it didn’t. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF SHE WAS WORKING ON MY FILE ON THE 28TH MAR 2015, IT WAS EVIDENT THAT SHE HASN’T TOUCHED MY DOCUMENT AT ALL. WHY DID SHE KEPT SAYING THAT THE NUMBER WILL BE ACTIVATED IN THE EVENING EVERYTIME I GOT IN TOUCH WITH HER. This went on and on where they kept saying it will be done by evening. The address verification of both home and office was done but no sign of number getting activated. On the 30th Mar’2015 I received an activation update and it said for status send SMS. I THOUGHT FINALLY I WILL GET THE NUMBER ACTIVATED SMS AIRTEL BUT YOU WONT BELIVE WHAT HAPPENED. AFTER ABOUT TWO WEEKS ON THE 31ST MAR’2015 KAVITHA CALLS ME AND SAYS THAT THE NUMBER CANNOT BE ACTIVATED AS THAT NUMBER IS GIVEN TO A PREPAID SOME STUFF. I DON’T UNDERSTAND THE FACT THAT WE ARE LIVING IN A ADVANCED WORLD AND IT TAKES 2 WEEKS FOR A COMPLANY LIKE AIRTEL TAKES TWO WEEKS FOR THE PROCESS THAT TOO AFTER ALL THE ADDRESS VERIFICATION. THIS IS TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE. Anyways after this episode she said that I will have to take another number, I ignored the mistake as it tends to happen by everyone. I ASKED HER TO SHARE THE NUMBERS AND WILL SELECT THE DETAILS BUT TO MY SURPRISE SHE SAID THAT I WILL HAVE TO COME TO OUTLET AND GO THROUGH THE WHO PROCESS. I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHEN THERE WAS A MISTAKE FROM YOUR AND WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR THE MISTAKE. WHEN I ASKED HER WHY SHE SAID THAT I WILL HAVE TO DO IT AS IT’S A REGULAR PROCESS HOWEVER SHE WILL GET THE NUMBER ACTIVATED IN A DAYS TIME THAT TO BY THE EVENING (AGAIN THE SAME OLD EVENING STUFF). AS WE ALL HAVE TO WORK AND GO TO OFFICE I SENT OUT THE DOCMENT THROUGH MY WIFE ON THE 1ST APR’2015. WHEN SHE WENT TO THE OUTLET SHE COULDN’T SELECT THE NUMBER BECAUSE THEY CLAIMED THAT THE SERVER WAS DOWN. ON THE 2ND April’ 2015 I SELECTED THE NUMBER [protected]. DURING THE PROCESS OF TAKING THE NUMBER AT THE OUTLET I HAD SPOKEN TO ANOTHER LADY ANOTHER EXAMPLE HOW A STAFF SHOULD NEVER TALK TO A CUSTOMER. I DON’T UNDERSTAND THE FACT WHY DOES AIRTEL HAVE SUCH STUPID STAFFS WHO TALKS AS IF THEY ARE DOING A FAVOR TALKING TO US, RUDE AND SARCASTIC. I CALLED KAVITHA THE SAME EVENING AS SHE WASN’T THERE IN THE OUTLET BUT SHE DIDN’T RESPOND TO MY CALL HOWEVER SHE RESPONDED TO HER COLLEGAUS CALL, I DON’T KNOW WHY. Coming back I CALLED KAVITHA ON THE 3RD APR’2015 AND SHE REPLIED THAT SHE IS IN CHURCH. I ASKED HER ABOUT THE ACTIVATION AND SHE SAID THAT SHE IS NOT IN OFFICE TODAY AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING. I WOULD LIKE TO UNDERSTAND IT AIRTEL DEPENDENT ON INDIIVIDUALS? IF THAT PERSON DOESN’T COME TO OFFICE EVERYTHING GOES COMES TO A STAND STILL. Today I was expecting a call from Kavitha [protected] but since there was no response from her I called her, she didn’t answer the phone first time and on the second call someone by name Harish ANOTHER EXAMPLE HOW A STAFF SHOULD NEVER TALK TO A CUSTOMER WHO TALKS AS IF THEY ARE DOING A FAVOR TALKING TO US, RUDE AND SARCASTIC. I SAID I WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO KAVITHA AS SHE KNOWS THE WHOLD INCIDENT AND I DON’T HAVE TO REPEAT THE STORY BUT HE REFUSED TO GIVE THE PHONE TO HER AS HE IS HANDLING POSTPAID CONNECTION SOMETHING. IT WAS OBVIOUS SHE SAW MY NUMBER AND PASSED THE PHONE TO HIM. I WAS ADAMENT TALKING TO HER AS I WAS LOOSING MY PAITENCE THIS TIME. I EVEN THREATENED HIM THAT HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT IAM CAPABLE AND WILL LOG COMPLAINTS AND STUFFS LIKE THAT (share my experience on the social site) BUT THAT DIDN’T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE ON HIM. LOOKS LIKE THIS IS SOMETHING THEY USE TO. HOWEVER HE SAID SHE WILL CALL ME BACK IN 5 MINUTES BUT SHE DIDN’T. I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN I CALLED FROM THE OTHER NUMBER AND AS I IMAGINED SHE PICKED UP THE CALL AND SHE HEARD MY VOICE HER TONE COMPELTLY CHANGED. STILL I ASKED HER KAVITHA WHATS HAPPENING ITS BEEN MORE THAN 2 WEEKS WHATS HAPPENING. SHE SAID DON’T TALK ABOUT THE OLD NUMBER, I ASKED HER WHAT DOES SHE MEAN. I TOLD HER IT WAS NOT MY MISTAKE, TO THIS SHE SAID SHE IS WORKING ON MY NUMBER AND DISCONNECTED THE CALL. · WHY ARE PEOPLE WORKING AT THE AIRTEL OUTLET NEAR AYYAPPA TEMPLE NOT TOUGHT HOW SHOULD THEY HANDLE CUSTOMER OR SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER? · WHY IT TOOK 2 WEEKS TO IDENTIFY AND INFORM ME THAT THE NUMBER [protected] CANNOT BE GIVEN AFTER ALL THE VERIFICATION PROCESS AND ACTIVATION MSG FROM AIRTEL · WHY DID KAVITHA REPEATEDLY MAKE FALSE PROMISES? IS THIS HER ATITUDE OR AIRTEL THE POINT OF CONCERN. I BELIVE THIS PARTICULAR OUTLET IS A VERY BAD EXAMPLE OF AIRTEL AND MAY TO SAVE AIRTELS REPUTATION THEY MUST TAKE A VERY STRICT ACTION SO THAT NO ONE ELSE WHO KNOCKS THE DOOR OF AIRTEL SHOULD GO THROUGH WHAT I WENT THROUGH. I AM STILL KEENLY WAITING FOR MORE THAN 2 WEEKS FOR A NUMBER [protected] TO ACTIVATE. I BELIVE AIRTEL HAS SOME PEOPLE WHO ARE WORKING TOWARDS THE GROWTH OF COMPANY AND VALUE THEIR CUSTOMER.
