Airtel — Inaction against someone wrongly using my email address | |||||
The user with mobile number: [protected] has provided my email address as contact. This mobile number does not belong to me. I have notified Airtel multiple times that the person has given a wrong email address. Airtel has ignored my emails, and has not taken any action against the user. And I continue to receive emails regarding non-payment of bills. Please take corrective action as deemed appropriate. And have a mechanism to ensure the correctness of email addresses. Just to update the status on this, Airtel is asking for my contact details before they correct their records. I do not think my mobile number is necessary for them to correct their mistake.
Let it be on the record that I have let them know about the error in their records and they refuse to correct it and spam me with emails.
