I was using vodafone network. I decided to move on to airtel network and ported my number on 26th may 2018. On 30th may, i received a message my porting request has been approved. On same day around 9pm, my vodafone sim card was disconnected. From 31st morning on wards, i am able to make out calls. But incoming calls, sms and data services are not working. When i registered a complaint calling 121 on 31st may, the customer care executive asked me to remove the sim card from my mobile and switch it off and place the sim card again and switch my mobile on. I did the same but no luck. Again i called 121 on the same day, this time they told me to visit airtel store and get the new sim. I went to the store but the store manager said there is no problem with the sim which i was given. Again i called 121, this time they said i need to wait for 2 hours to get it activated. I have waited for 10 hours. Today i called 121, this time they are saying i need to wait for 24 hours. I am totally disappointed with four different answers and i don't know which is true. I already lost the clients who tried to call me. Airtel is not a trustworthy.
