Airtel — Invoice raised for the services not rendered and fooling the customer | |||
Hi, I have requested for a new connection of Airtel LL & BB of 40MBPS speed online by paying Rs.1000/- advance. Multiple times different people called me from Airtel and confirmed my requirement and collected all documents. After several followup on 24th of Nov one person from Airtel came and pulled a cable inside my building. He confirmed me that he can only give 8MBPS connection and he said after activation we will upgrade to 40MBPS. He was not technically sound and said he will send some technical person next day for configuring internet...for my curiosity I contacted Airtel and checked this bandwidth issue and they confirmed that max possible speed is only 8Mbps. Same day (25th) I raised a request asking them to disconnect and pay me back my Rs.1000/- because I have not used any of their service - not even a telephone call. They send me a acceptance to the complaint and said they will refund the amount in few days. On December 21st I received a bill from Airtel showing Rs.1328/-. They are saying that Rs.1000/- is adjusted towards activation and I have to pay balance Rs.328/-. I send mails to Nodal officer and also to Appellate...reply is same...no logic...you have to pay Rs.328/-...And they confirmed over phone and mail that billing is for 20th to 26th...but my connection is activated only on 24th... I was just thinking how these guys are looting public... I have decided to cancel all my Airtel connections and take this case to consumer court...Just updated you all to escape from such Airtel traps... Thanks Was this information helpful? | |||
