Airtel — issuance of new duplicate sim | |||||
I had a airtel prepaid sim no [protected] issued on the name of my mother, which got lost by me. I have been using the sim for more than 10 yrs now. I went to the airtel centre at silvercity dehradun and told them to issue a new sim with the same old no in my name as my mom is not here with me at the moment. They asked me to submit my mom details and mine which i did. It has been more then a week now and today they have told me that my address is not matching so they can't issue me a new sim. I told them that the address has been changed and gave them the id for the same. But they insisted that sim cannot be issued. I am very sad to say that after following up for my new sim and visiting the airtel office 4-5 times i have come to know this, this is kind of harassment. What service are they providing. I have been using there service for more than 10 yrs now and still want to continue with them but this is the service i am getting. What reason is this that your address is not matching with the old one. Was this information helpful? | |||||
