Hi, i'm trying to port my number from vodafone to airtel.
Vodafone is giving worst signal these days, frequent call drops, no network connectivity, voice breaks, always busy networks, no 3g/2g connectivity and other issues. Which is why i am fed up of this network and want to change to airtel.

But to my surprise, porting to airtel itself is a big pain in the a#. I have visited airtel store and they said they don't have prepaid sim and are forcing to get a postpaid connection.

I do not want a postpaid connection you, that was i wanted to scream.

I am completely fed up with vodafone service and now facing these i'm afraid to move to airtel as well.
Is this the kind of service our two biggest mobile service providers provide to us?
