My self prem chand garg, i have applied to port my number [protected] from idea to airtel on 12.06.2020. On 15.06.2020 my idea connection is disconnected and i have received message from airtel on my alternate number that "dear customer, your mobile number [protected] is ready for activation now. Please insert your sim in your handset and call 59059. Your tele-verification pin for your activation is 74309".
Thereafter, i just insert my airtel sim to handset, but it is not showing network since then. I have followed the procedures for activation i. E switch off my handset after inserting sim and trying to call at 59059, but against it is showing no network. I have contacted the problem before airtel retailer and airtel store. All of them has changed the sim 5 times, but no issue resolved. I am very disappointed with airtel and regret on my decision to port number from idea to airtel.
You are requested to take action on the same on an urgent basis.
