Airtel — Not Disconnecting Broadband Connect and sending bills every month

Another fraud ISP in our country. There is a cyber law in our country but companies like airtel or Bharti Airtel don't even care about these laws.

I am airtel user for mobile as well as broadband. I have relocated from one city to another and because of the same reason I placed a request to disconnect my broadband in May this year.

May, June, July and now Aug but this connection is not yet disconnected and they keep sending me bills to pay and I am keep paying it.

I have tried using email, phone, chat available on Airtel App even I raised complaint on consumer forum but none of this worked.

I have escalated it to nodal.[protected]@in.airtel.com, appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com and [protected]@bharti.in but no one even bother to reply on it.

I tried calling 121 they pick my call they said they are working and ask me to be on hold, I was on hold for about 16 minutes and then the call was automatically disconnected.

I tried social media also they replied and asked me broadband connection number. I have given that to then they replied is already closed. Now when I asked if it is already closed then why you sending bill every month? from then till now no reply.

so in a way they have created a full trap for the customer to harash them when it comes to discontinueation of any service.

someone called me on behalf of the Airtel consumer team and he asked me to install an app called "Anydesk" and the he asked me to share my phone access with him. I am totally not able to understand why Airtel need my phone access in order to disconnect my broadband connect? I am assuming this was a fishing call and hence didn't share my access.
