Airtel — Number is been barred.. No resolution even after 1 week | |||
Airtel, It is seeming damn silly by looking at the service being provided by one of the reputed service providers in India. I am using airtel postpaid connection : [protected] Last week I was on travel to Andhra Pradesh and i requested for free incoming on roaming pack. After few hours of this request my sim card stopped working, showing no service on the signal bar. After restarts, i requested my co-passenger's mobile to make a call to airtel customer care, then i got to know that my number hasbeen barred with no reason( even customer service representatives are not sure about the reason) somehow they placed a request to unbar and the time given was 30mins. I re-tried after 30mins .. same problem i had seen.. again called up customer care and now the time limit is 4 hrs.. it was looking so awful by seeing the random timelimits giving by customer care executives. Thinking customers are fools and ready to accept everything conveyed by them. Eagerly waited for 4 hrs.. again called... now the new drama started.. latest drama's time limit is 24 hrs. Still not worse.. i waited for 24 hrs.. by losing all the communication with my relatives, friends and colleagues.. Imagine my position in a new place, , having iphone in my hand and no option to make calls or send sms. Again called up customer care.. probably 10th time after this complaint raised.. funny thing was they didn't even have my details in their database.. they need to update it seems.. Alright... after 72-hours.. my situation getting worse.. living like an orphan in a remote place.. Atlast.. returned to bangalore.. Still not resolved.. Visited a relationship center at Doopanahalli, Indiaranagar.. there the new series of drama started.. they asked me to submit proofs and photograph, .. as they will swap my number to new simcard. Pathetic.. having no mistake done from my side... i had to submit proofs and photograph by wasting my time.. for the technical issue they are facing whihc is unknown to them.. Did that.. submitted documents and time limit given was 2hrs.. Visited the relationship center twice after submitting docs.. now they are finiding new reasons to escape.. they are not reachable on phone.. they don't even pick our calls.. by luck if they attend.. we have to make up our mind to accept the irresponsible reply from them.. Their ultimate conclusion was.. you can escalate it to the higher management if you want.. :( Awful part is.. My number is still not active... Hoping i will runaway from airtel soon...
