Airtel — Prepaid Number Disconnection

My prepaid mobile number is [protected]. On[protected] my phone stated showing "SIM Card not Inserted" error, I checked this SIM with another phone but same message was there. On[protected] I contacted Airtel Relationship Center and told those guys about my problem. They told me that your SIM is blocked and this number is out of stock. You can retain the same number only in Postpaid Connection. Then I submitted all the required documents and apllied for the Postpaid Connection. Next day my address verification had been completed. But my mobile number was not activated. I called again to A.R.C. Now after 2 days of delay they are saying your photo in ID's xerox copy is not clear. You will have to submit it again. Now my point is that why my prepaid connection was blocked? Why I was forced for Postpaid connection to retain the same number? Even after applying for Postpaid connection why it is not being activated Kindly help me to resolve the matter. Regards Prashant Kaushik [protected] (Alternate No. [protected])
