Airtel — problem to reissue lost airtel sim | |||
My airtel number [protected] was lost on 7th april and for security purpose i blocked my number on 7th april. I visited airtel store (Goregaon west, mumbai) at 15:30 on 8th april and i was told i will get number activated in 5 minutes for which i paid 25 rs. Then i was asked to wait for 10 more minutes because of some technical issue which was looked by ismail and ashish on the store. I waited till 16:30 then i was told i can take the sim and it will be activated in 4 hours. I came home but it was not activated even till 22:00 after which i called the customer care and i was told i should wait till mid-night 12 am and then number will be activated. I managed to be awake till midnight re-inserted sim restarted phone but nothing happened. I again called at 08:45 am to customer support and they told me outgoing is still blocked and it is now activated which should activate the number in 1 hour. I again called customer care at 10:50 am and now i am asked to visit the airtel gallery again. Do you think in a city like mumbai is it that easy to go to airtel gallery? Do you really expect a person to take half-day from office just to go to your gallery? When it is about new connections you guys sent executive to very small locations to collect documents then why not now? It is very very disgusting, airtel is losing all its standards all because of the local staff and the customer care service. I am airtel customer and hence wanted to give my feedback to improve the service, please work on your local staff or you will lose your customers like me.
