[Resolved] Airtel — Purchase of wi-fi 3g device | |
My name murugan parvathy, mobile [protected], yesterday[protected] visited airtel babuji nager, bownpally, show room and purchased wifi airtel 3g device paid cash rs.2100 with post paid connection plan o[censored]nlimited rs.650 per month. While paying cash i asked receipt to executive said, accountant today in leave, insisted me to collect tomorrow, i told them it’s very difficult to come tomorrow because of medchal nearly 24km away from show room. I clearly told them i will not make purchase without bill.. The executive requested me to accept, i believed the reputation of airtel and considered the request. The executive opened the device pack and installed the mini sim with adapter in the device. Instructed me to use after verification call in the alternative number. I got confirmation in the alternative number and based on that i attended the call. After that i got message in the mobile confirming the device is ready for use. I tried to use in the my pc found sim is invalid. Morning i planed to visit airtel office and collect the cash receipt unfortunately i unable to give complaint about device issued because of office hours. I went to airtel office by 7pm, complaint the device problem, they taken the device try to open the cover and remove sim from the device, the executive faced lot difficulty to take out the sim. I requested bill receipt and asked for replacement of device did not work. The executive don’t want collect the device and give receipt after collection including the bill/cash receipt under due problem made by executive. I told them please collect device and give receipt so that i can follow-up. Single one in the show room taken up initiate to collect the device and give receipt. I told them if you are not willing to give cash receipt and accept device for replacement / service then without having working wi-fi i can’t use sim for post paid connection hence i requested them to accept my cancellation of the post paid connection. I struggled more than one hour single one interested in the showroom to understand my problem and totally got upset the way treated the customer. Evidence i recorded the discussion. This complaint is not getting my money back / device replacement just share bad experience with airtel executive. I am not rising complaint against airtel some of executive in the show room wrong approach customer losing faith on good company / misunderstanding the reputation Was this information helpful? | |
